Song Story - it does exactly what it says on the label! It's the show with the stories behind the songs! For example - did you know that 'The year of the cat' by Al Stewart was originally called 'The Foot Of The Stage' and was written as a tribute to British Comedian Tony Hancock?! But Stewart decided that he didn't want to take advantage of Hancock’s tragedy so he re-wrote the lyrics. OR that 'At Seventeen' by Janis Ian was actually about her life as a 14 year old, but the word "seventeen" fit better into the lyrics! OR that Black Box made virtually no money at all from the huge, worldwide success of their single 'Ride On Time'. Why? Because they were foolish enough to use Vocalist Loleatta Holloway's voice, but they used a French Model (who couldn't speak a word of English) to mime the song on every T.V and Live appearance they did!! Loleatta sued them for millions of dollars!! Song Story - The Show That Leaves You Saying "well, I never knew that!"
