Six episodes of panel discussions recorded at the Step Up To The World event on 22 October 2025, at the National Library of New Zealand.

Presented by Make it 16 and the New Zealand Centre for Global Studies, the event brought together a range of voices and perspectives, the first in a series of initiatives on this critical issue. Expert presenters and participants explore questions and share ideas from the current state of democracy to the influence and impacts of education, technology, economics, and geopolitics, on the future of democracy.
