Oliver interviews visiting Irish business people, politicians, and musicians. Some of his guests over the years include former Irish President Mary Robinson; former Prime Minister Albert Reynolds; Irish businessman Dr. Tony O’Reilly;  Riverdance founder Michael Flately; and Irish singer Daniel O’Donnell.

The programme has a strong following throughout New Zealand. While the programme is particularly for Irish and Irish/Kiwis, Oliver hears from people who have no connection with Ireland yet tune in regularly to hear about the latest events happening in Ireland and to listen to Irish music.
